The Art of Feng Shui

The flow of energy. Unblocking channels in your living space to grant you the serenity, harmony and vitality your life needs.

Mirroring oneself in one's surroundings will create an infinite display of one's spirit. FENG SHUI is an ancient Chinese practice started over 3,000 years ago that aims to create a harmonious balance of energies in one’s living or workspace in the interest of assuring health and other good fortunes. Using color in specific areas of the space and the placement of various objects and furniture within that space allow different energies to flow about freely.

FENG SHUI does not require the entire reconstruction of one's home or space. Channels can be easily unclogged with simple remedies and reminders of meaningful symbols that relate to their placement on the BAGUA, or mapping system that dictates which areas of life correlate with your surroundings.

The phrase FENG SHUI (pronounced fung shway) comes from the Chinese words for wind (FENG) and water (SHUI). According to ancient Chinese beliefs, wind and water together equal good health.

Alexis Doyle uses inspiration from the "Black Hat" FENG SHUI school of thought founded by Professor Thomas Lin, which teaches one to live a more fluid lifestyle by changing one's space to find balance in all aspects of life.
